Since the year 2000, we have been introducing woven metals to Australia and New Zealand with a resounding success and most prestigious projects like the National Gallery of Victoria, the Beehive aka the New Zealand Parliament in Wellington and a myriad of other smaller projects. Since our humble beginnings as Archinterface, we have been the distributor for TACCHI Metals, a boutique Italian weaver based near Lake Como. More recently, over a visit to Architect@Work in Paris, we secured the rights for the biggest Italian weaver, whose architectural range is marketed under the name of MARIANItech. We have now received samples and are starting our own marketing efforts to introduce you to this exciting range of expanded aluminium, spiral mesh, structural weaves for façades and large screens applications and fine meshes for interior applications. So we have now the widest range of woven and expanded metals in Australasia.
