The original designer, Alan Tye, was a colleague of Knud Holscher, (the designer of d line) and a pupil of Arne Jacobsen. Modric originally introduced a series of aluminium door hardware and bathroom fittings, now one branch only of the allgood expanding empire.

The original Modric knob is still in production today, and we are still selling quite a lot of them, whether in their door handle version, or as the smaller cabinet knob. But we also have the aluminium L and U levers to cater for current design constraints.
